SHOOTING ASSIGNMENT: Bicycles
There is more than one way to look at any object. This idea was explored while taking pictures of a bicycle at numerous angles. The different parts of the bike were captured as well as the bike as a whole. Many variations were seen in these pictures of the bicycle. (and unicycle)
SHOOTING ASSIGNMENT: CIRCLES AND OVALS
In all pictures taken, the main focus or theme was circles and ovals. The eye is drawn to these shapes immediately and are dominant over the other shapes that may also be included in the shot.

1. What number f stop does a large aperture hole have?
A larger aperture hole means it has a larger f stop number.
2. What type of aperture hole does F 5.6 have?
An F 5.6 has a medium-sized aperture hole.
3. F in “F-Stop” also refers to:
F in "F-Stop" also refers to Focal Length.
4. If you want to change the aperture to let in the least amount of light what would you set the aperture at?
A smaller aperture hole such as F 16 will let in the least amount of light. The number depends on the lens.
5. If you want to change the aperture to let in the most amount of light, what would you set the aperture at?
A larger aperture hole such as F 2.8 will let in the most amount of light. The number depends on the lens.
6. The F-stop also determines the “depth of field” or how much depth of the picture will be in focus.Using the picture in the note explain how much of an image will be in focus if you use F 32?
If you use the aperture of F 32, 32ft of the picture will be in focus, which would be the entire picture in this case.
7. How much of the image will be in focus if you use the aperture of F 1.4?
If you use the aperture of F 1.4, only 1.4ft of the image will be in focus.
8. If you want to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, what would you set the shutter speed at?
If you want to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, you should set the shutter speed to 1/125 or higher.
9. If you want to adjust the shutter speed to create an image blur, what might you set the shutter speed at?
If you want to adjust the shutter speed to create an image blur, you might set the shutter speed to a lower shutter speed like 1/25 or lower.
10. If you have your shutter speed at 1/25 you might consider using a tripod. Why is this?
If you have your shutter speed at 1/125, you might consider using a tripod to avoid an image blur or camera shake, considering this is a relatively low shutter speed
